    Qualifications

The Diploma-level qualifications offered by Xian Tian College are professionally recognised in the UK. This means that UK practitioners are able to be recognised and fully insured practitioners within the UK immediately after completing their training.
For other countries, students will have to undertake their own research as they may need to carry out a few other steps before they may practice. Be aware that this is far more likely to be a restriction on practice as an Acupuncturist rather than a Tui Na practitioner which should be easier to transfer, as a profession, to another country.
We have previously taught students from other countries. Some of them are from countries where they are able to practice, some are not worried about the legalities as they don’t wish to run a clinic, they are learning for their own interest and some other foreign students are already qualified and are retraining with us so as to update their knowledge.
Essentially, it is up to each individual student to research for themslves whether the UK Diploma qualification is valid in the country where they wish to practice.

    Acupuncture Diploma

One of the major treatment modalities of Chinese medicine is Acupuncture which is often paired with both Moxibustion and Cupping. The insertion of fine, sterile needles into specific points along the body’s channels has become increasingly popular due to its powerful effects. At the Xian Tian College of Chinese Medicine, we teach Acupuncture and associated treatment modalities in a classical manner, with emphasis placed upon both the manual skill of needle control as well as the energetics of the method.
