On this page, you can find out about the Xian Tian professional diploma study in Chinese Medicine.
The Xian Tian College of Chinese Medicine teaches students in a modular fashion, covering the subjects of Acupuncture, Cupping, Moxa and Guasha. The initial Online module takes the form of weekly classes. Students can discuss the material with experienced tutors within our Online Discussion Group. The year 2 module is composed of two parts – a practical in-person study with Linda and Kirsty, and a weekly online part with recorded video lectures from Damo. Upon completion, students are awarded a professional Diploma in Chinese Medicine (Acupuncture) which is a recognised UK qualification to practice.
The structure of the 3-year long training is outlined below, along with practical details:

Qualifications
The Diploma-level qualifications offered by Xian Tian College are professionally recognised in the UK. This means that UK practitioners are able to be recognised and fully insured practitioners within the UK immediately after completing their training.
For other countries, students will have to undertake their own research as they may need to carry out a few other steps before they may practice. Be aware that this is far more likely to be a restriction on practice as an Acupuncturist rather than a Tui Na practitioner which should be easier to transfer, as a profession, to another country.
We have previously taught students from other countries. Some of them are from countries where they are able to practice, some are not worried about the legalities as they don’t wish to run a clinic, they are learning for their own interest and some other foreign students are already qualified and are retraining with us so as to update their knowledge.
Essentially, it is up to each individual student to research for themslves whether the UK Diploma qualification is valid in the country where they wish to practice.
